Ita Wegman Clinic

The Ita Wegman Clinic is the successor of the Clinical-Therapeutic Institute founded in 1921 by the Dutch doctor Ita Wegman, where Anthroposophic Medicine was developed in close collaboration with Rudolf Steiner, the founder of anthroposophy, and has been applied in practice ever since.

Ita Wegman developed special modes of care including, wraps, compresses, and, together with the doctor Margarethe Hauschka, the art of Rhythmical Massage. All these therapies, as well as mistletoe treatment of cancer – which was also developed by Ita Wegman – are still practiced in the Ita Wegman Clinic today.

The Ita Wegman Klinik sees itself as a clinic for complementary medicine with competent conventional medical expertise and offers the following services:
